NEW TO THE DISTRICT?  If your child is new to the District, please have all necessary information available for registration. This consists of three (3) pieces of information proving residency, such as a driver’s license, utility bill and/or rental agreement. In addition, we will need a copy of your child’s birth certificate, medical and immunization records, and the name, address, and phone number of their previous school. 

REGISTRATION FORMS:  All forms will be available at the time of registration.  Addition registration forms are listed below if you would like to fill them out ahead of time.

PHYSICAL EXAMS:  All students entering school for the first time (kindergartners or students from out of state), all sixth graders, and all freshmen must have a physical examination before school begins.  Athletes must have a sports physical prior to any level of participation.

FEES:  All school fees (including breakfast/lunch accounts) can be paid in the school office (cash or check) and can also be paid online with a credit card through the Illinois E-Pay portal.  A link to this portal can be found on the district website.

  • Daily Breakfast Price (K-4):  $1.60
  • Daily Lunch Price (K-4):  $2.75
  • Milk Price:  $0.35
  • Book Rental Fee (K-4):  $45.00
  • Technology Fee (K-2):  $15.00
  • Technology Fee (3-4):  $20.00
  • Activity Fee (K-4):  $10.00
  • Paperback Books:  Cost of Materials
  • Art Projects:  Cost of Materials
  • Library Book Late Fee:  $0.10 per day

*Collected Fees Family Cap = $260 does not include extra-curricular fees

The school establishes fees and charges to fund certain school activities.  Some students may be unable to pay these fees.  Students will not be denied educational services or academic credit due to the inability of their parent or guardian to pay fees or certain charges. Students whose parent or guardian is unable to afford student fees may receive a fee waiver.  A fee waiver does not exempt a student from charges for lost and damaged books, locks, materials, supplies, and/or equipment.  In addition, fee waivers do not apply to athletic/extracurricular fees, technology fees, or activity fees.

Applications for fee waivers may be submitted by a parent or guardian of a student who has been assessed a fee.  As student is eligible for a fee waiver if at least one of the following prerequisites is met:

  1. The student currently lives in a household that meets the free lunch or breakfast eligibility guidelines established by the federal government pursuant to the National School Lunch Act; or
  2. The student or the student’s family is currently receiving aid under Article IV of the Illinois Public Aid Code (Aid to Families of Dependent Children).

The building principal will give additional consideration where one or more of the following factors are present:

  1. An illness in the family;
  2. Unusual expenses such as fire, flood, storm damage, etc.;
  3. Seasonal employment;
  4. Emergency situations; or
  5. When one or more of the parents/guardians are involved in a work stoppage.

The building principal will notify the parent/guardian promptly as to whether the fee waiver request has been granted or denied. Questions regarding the fee waiver application process should be addressed to the building principal.
