All students participated in a volleyball unit. Our youngest students used soft, over-sized volleyballs and spent most of the time working on controlled passing. They also practiced underhand serving and many were able to serve the ball over the net! Our intermediate students spent a lot of time passing and serving as well and enjoyed the serving game, "Dead Fish". We even had some 4th and 5th graders serving overhand from the endline. Our junior high kids were more advanced and got to add some downballs and a little bit of spiking, using a spike approach. Volleyball was a fun unit, and these "Future Huskers" will be fun to watch in the coming years!
