Serena would like to congratulate Ava Rosengren for earning academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Program for Rural High School Students. This honor was based on her grade point average, her outstanding application, and her PSAT scores which were top 10% in the state. Serena is very proud of you Ava!

The Serena Lions Club came out and fed the entire high school today during lunch. We are so appreciative of them and their commitment to give back to the Serena community. The food was great and the students really enjoyed it. Thank you to all the members that came out today.

This is a reminder that tonight is Unpack the Backpack Night from 3-6. Students can pick up their Chromebook, complete registration, pay for parking passes, pay for PE uniforms, walk their schedule and try their new lockers. There will be Freshman Orientation starting at 4 in the Cafeteria where parents and students can meet staff, speak to clubs, and find their classrooms well. See you tonight! #gohuskers
