Friday before Spring Break we supported the Special Olympics by participating in the Polar Plunge. The school community really came together and raised over $6,000!! That Friday was also National Down Syndrome Day. To show support for those with Down Syndrome may people across the country wear fun socks. Our NHS students helped by sponsoring Funky Sock Day at school that day. Here are all the students that helped support and recognize with their Funky Socks. We are really proud of the student body and the community for showing support for those who need it. This day was also made possible by many of the wonderful staff and student leaders. Thank you to everyone!

Beyond the brackets and book battles, our Husker basketball players made a slam dunk today! Seeing the smiles and sparking a love for reading is what it's all about. This week we celebrated our March students of the month! Thank you for being great Huskers and thank you to the community that supports them.
Unfortunately, today's softball game against Kaneland HS has been canceled. We're looking forward to playing them on the rescheduled date: April 10th. Mark your calendars!

Due to weather conditions and power issues at District facilities. All Unit 2 schools will have a two hour delay today. School will start at 10am and buses will run two hours later than normal. Lunch will be served but breakfast will not be served. Should we need to move to an e-learning day, we will be in contact with you as soon as possible
