Serena Middle School

This week, SMS will celebrate RED RIBBON WEEK!

DID YOU KNOW?

Children of parents /guardians who talk to their teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don’t; yet, only a quarter of teens report having these conversations.

Red Ribbon Week® , the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in
the nation, is your opportunity to get the ongoing conversation started.

This year’s theme is Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free.

Visit www.redribbon.org to learn more about Red Ribbon Week® and get tips for talking to your children about drugs.

🎃 Exciting News ... Students may bring a drink and/or snack to enjoy during Husker Hour on Friday, Oct. 31 If parents/guardians would like to send pre-packaged drinks/snacks for their child's Husker Hour class to share, SMS would greatly appreciate donations! Happy Halloween! 👻

Harding Grade School will have openings in their afternoon preschool session 12:00-2:30 beginning second semester (January 6, 2026.) Call them today to secure a spot 815-792-8216!
