The Serena Lions Club came out and fed the entire high school today during lunch. We are so appreciative of them and their commitment to give back to the Serena community. The food was great and the students really enjoyed it. Thank you to all the members that came out today.

This is a reminder that tonight is Unpack the Backpack Night from 3-6. Students can pick up their Chromebook, complete registration, pay for parking passes, pay for PE uniforms, walk their schedule and try their new lockers. There will be Freshman Orientation starting at 4 in the Cafeteria where parents and students can meet staff, speak to clubs, and find their classrooms well. See you tonight! #gohuskers

Attention all Serena Alumni! We are currently working on a project and are in need of your help. Serena High School is seeking a paraprofessional for the 24-25 school year. The individual must have an Illinois Paraprofessional license or be able to obtain one. Pay is $15.20/hour.
Duties include:
-Assist teachers with classroom learning activities
-Monitor students in distance learning classroom
-Supervise students in areas outside of the classroom
-Provide individual and small group instruction
-Participate in professional development
-Perform other duties as assigned

Yesterday, five Serena High School students signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Congratulations to Hunter Staton, Carson Baker, Tanner Faivre, Makayla McNally, and Gwyneth O'Connell! Paisley Twait committed earlier this school year and was excited to join her fellow classmates on this day. Go Huskers!
