Last night these students were inducted into Serena's chapter of the National Honor Society. Students are selected on the basis of four pillars: scholarship, character, leadership, and service. These students were chosen because they embody these pillars. Congratulations!
Parent teacher conferences this year are November 20th and 21st. On November 20th, students are in attendance for regularly scheduled times with parent teacher conferences being held from 3:30 to 7:00 pm. On November 21st there is no student attendance with parent teacher conferences being held from 8:00-11:30am.

This morning we celebrated our October Students of the Month. These kids do great work inside and outside the classroom, along with being leaders in various ways. Way to represent Serena. Keep it up!

Serena FFA is going out this morning delivering hot fresh food to our local farmers who are currently out harvesting their fields. They were out early this morning at school grilling up sandwiches and preparing their routes. Thank you Serena FFA for giving back to our community!

Congratulations to Aden Plowman for being recognized as one of the Fall Outstanding Students at Indian Valley Vocational Center. Aden spends half of her school day at IVVC in their Teaching Methods area of focus. Outstanding students are nominated by their instructors for showing qualities such as outstanding professional work, enthusiasm, attendance, initiative, and demonstrated work ethic. Way to go Aden!

Serena High School is looking to hire a paraprofessional to support English learners.
Congratulations to Tanner Faivre for becoming the all time leading scorer in Serena High School soccer history. Tanner broke the previous record of 97 goals held by Mark Bucz. Last year, Tanner set the single season scoring record with 46 goals. Tanner now has 98 goals and counting.
