What a BeAuTiFuL day it was today to be at Starved Rock for some hiking & fishing!

Students who earned the Quarter 4 incentive got to spend some time at the Ottawa YMCA yesterday - swimming, playing Bingo and basketball & volleyball in gym.

💜We think it's safe to say that Kernel is loved by all of the students & staff at SMS! 🐾We can't wait to see what Kernel has up his sleeve for the '26 - '27 school year!

Kernel's Ultimutt Birthday Celebration ended yesterday with a frozen applesauce cake topped with whipped cream and sprinkles for Kernel and ice cream sandwiches for the students.
