Husker Highlights
The Softball team won both the A Game 7-4 and B Game 12-1.
Reagan was our winning pitcher with 14 STRIKEOUTS giving up two hits and 4 runs over 7 innings.
Destiny went 2-3 at the plate with two runs batted in.
Hitting the links in his first tournament, Michael was 19 over par and found a fellow Husker Cam, who finished 28 over par.

Michael Jameson Attends CGTI 2026!
“CGTI was an amazing experience. I learned how to become a stronger leader at my school by communicating better and finding ways to make a positive impact on others. The speakers shared stories that inspired me and taught me that leadership is about setting a good example, encouraging others, and making a difference. My favorite part was performing in the talent show and playing the piano. I had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and I hope I get the chance to come back after this school year.” - M.J.
The Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute (CGTI) is a youth leadership & prevention program for middle school and high school students. The CGTI program consists of a week-long camp in July and weekend-long Mid-Year camp in January.
CGTI is one of the largest and most acclaimed leadership conferences in the nation and has been operating since 1974!
CGTI empowers youth with the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead an alcohol, tobacco and other drug-free life.
With over 50 years of conferences in the books, CGTI has remained at its core a substance use prevention & leadership program designed to support students in taking steps to create tangible, long-lasting change.
Since the first CGTI conference in 1974, events have been led by trained volunteer staff, many of whom are program alumni. Conferences are held at a centralized college campus, ensuring they are accessible to interested youth from all areas of the state.
CGTI continues to operate on the foundation that students have the power to make an impact!
