The SHS Junior Class is THANKFUL for the SMS students supporting their Husker Refresher fundraiser.

Kernel's Ultimutt Birthday Celebration ended yesterday with a frozen applesauce cake topped with whipped cream and sprinkles for Kernel and ice cream sandwiches for the students.

4th graders at Sheridan & Harding "Stepped Up" to SMS to for a few hours to hear about what life in middle school is like. We can't wait to welcome the students in August!

Each March, schools in each of the fifteen IESA divisions can nominate a school that has demonstrated exceptional character, respect and sportsmanship throughout the school year. The IESA honors schools nominated by their peers for the Division Sportsmanship Award. In order to be considered for the award, a school must be involved in at least 5 IESA activities, have no ejections or reports of unsportsmanlike conduct for the entire school in any activity (players, coaches, and/or fans) reported to the IESA and the school and community must demonstrate all around good behavior, indicative of good citizens and good sports. Serena Middle School was nominated for the Division 15 Sportsmanship Award. Thank You players, coaches and fans for always demonstrating behavior that is indicative of good citizens and good sports.

Field Trip Fun!

The 5th & 6th grade students had a great time on their end-of-year field trip to the Main Event!

Not only did the students have a great time, they represented Serena Middle School with class .
It was noted by the Main Event staff that the SMS students were so well behaved!
