🐾 Making Pawsitive Choices During Red Ribbon Week!
Thank You to SRO Tongate and our Student Council for bringing Cpl. Hubinsky from the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department and his canine partner, Ricky, to Serena Middle School!
Cpl. Hubinsky spoke with students about choosing to be drug free and answered their questions.
Students also watched Ricky demonstrate his obedience skills!
Originally from Europe, Ricky is trained in narcotics detection, apprehension and criminal investigation — and responds to commands in German.
Thank You, Cpl. Hubinsky and Ricky, for sharing your work with our students and reinforcing the importance of healthy, drug-free choices!
